Quorn Fillets with Apple & Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Quorn fillets
  • 1 large cooking apple peeled, core & thickly sliced
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil
  • 6 tbs seasoned flour
  • 1 oz butter
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp sage
  • 4 tbs dry white wine
  • 1 tbs chopped parsley
  • 6 tbs double cream
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Coat the apple slices in seasoned flour. Fry in oil until golden brown. Remove and keep warm. Discard oil.

Coat escalopes in remaining flour. Fry in butter for 3-4 minutes each side. Remove and keep warm

Add onion to pan. Fry for 2 minutes. Add sage and wine. Simmer for 1 minute. Add cream and parsley. Simmer for 1 minute.

Arrange pork on a serving dish. Top with apple slices. Pour over sauce.
