Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix to combine.

Add orange juice and zest. Mix to combine.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.

Scoop out small portions of the dough and form balls no bigger than ping pong balls.

Place balls on on parchment covered cookie sheet about two inches apart.

Bake at 350º for 10 minutes, rotate pans, and cook for 3 minutes longer, until golden brown.
